My thoughts about The Curious Why by Angela DiTerlizzi

I loved the diverse representations of kids and their interests, as well as the beautiful, earthy portrayal of the Curious Why. Even in the sections about boredom, each page is filled with little details and characters to discover, which perfectly aligns with the theme of this delightful book. It’s a wonderful way to encourage children to follow their interests and always ask why.

The book delivers a great message: boredom is something we create ourselves, not something imposed on us. The illustrations are excellent, showcasing a variety of children and their potential interests, though there is a slight emphasis on dinosaurs.

While it’s suitable for reading aloud, I believe it’s even better for independent readers, especially when they’re feeling bored!
