REVIEW

This book is focused on Chaol’s perspective as well as adding new perspectives from Yrene, Nesryn and Sartaq.

I found the beginning for the book slow but as Nesryn and Chaol were doing different things and getting close to Sartaq and Yrene respectfully I found the book become more interesting.

Half way through the book I realised I should’ve tandem read with Empire of Storms as the timelines are the same, but I will do that when I read the series again.

I really enjoyed the pairings in the book and the romance that built along the way. Chaol and Yrene are great for one another and so is Nesryn and Sartaq. I look forward to seeing what happens next in the series as the cliffhanger has me jumping into the next book.
