When Natalie and Luc’s worlds collide, it’s a recipe for disaster—or is it a recipe for love?Natalie:
I’ve got a restaurant to open, a menu to perfect, and a construction crew to wrangle. The last thing I need is some cocky hockey player skating into my life and causing a ruckus. But when Luc Bouchard, captain of the Sugar City Nighthawks, comes barging into my work site demanding I move my equipment, I can’t help but give him a taste of his own medicine. Who does he think he is, with his chiseled jaw and infuriatingly sexy smirk? I’ve got dreams to chase, and no man—no matter how good he looks in hockey pads—is going to get in my way. But try telling that to my traitorous heart (and other parts of my anatomy) every time he’s around.

Luc:
Seriously, how hard is it to move a crane out of the way? I’m the captain of the Sugar City Nighthawks, and I’ve got places to be, pucks to shoot, and a championship to win. I don’t have time to deal with some feisty, curvaceous chef who thinks she can tell me what to do. Natalie Dupont is stubborn, sassy, and hotter than a Cajun kitchen in July. She’s got a smart mouth and an even smarter brain, and I can’t seem to keep my mind (or my hands) off her. But I’m a professional, and I’ve got goals to achieve. I can’t afford to let a woman—even one with a body that could melt the ice—distract me from my purpose. If only my heart (and other parts of my anatomy) would get the memo.

Pucked in the Kitchen by Megan Wade is the first book in Curves on Ice series.

Natalie is focused on opening her restaurant and perfecting her menu, with no time for distractions-especially not from Luc Bouchard, the cocky captain of the Sugar City Nighthawks, who barges into her work demanding she move her equipment. Despite his chiseled jaw and sexy smirk, she’s determined to stay on track. Luc, on the other hand, is equally determined to stay focused on winning his championship, but can’t seem to resist the fiery, curvaceous chef who’s as hot as a Cajun kitchen. Sparks fly as their worlds collide, challenging their professional and personal resolve.

My thoughts about Pucked in the Kitchen by Megan Wade

This story is fantastic! It’s a feel-good, laugh-out-loud, steamy read—absolutely perfect. I loved Natalie and Luc. Despite Luc being the captain of the hockey team and Natalie having a long-time crush on him, their playful arguments serve as foreplay. An awesome story that I thoroughly enjoyed.
