I loved this one! If you’re seeking a short and sweet romance, Annah Conwell’s books are perfect. The boss-assistant romance was handled with great angst and tension, with heated glances and touches that were swoon-worthy. Both characters were relatable, with Ellie as the lovable grump and Miles as the passionate, dedicated one who finally breaks his cycle. Despite being a lighter read, it had depth and intense moments, like heated arguments turning into feverish kisses. Shaw and Fitz were also highlights, showcasing strong male friendships and support. With fantastic banter and swoony kisses, it’s a quick read with the best summer vibes.
