REVIEW

This book was different from my normal reads. I typically read YA fantasy but I am starting to read other genres and more adult fiction.

French has written an epic story that captivated me with its placement in history at the Battle of Waterloo as well as at the new colony in Sydney, Australia.

I enjoyed the character development of Henrietta as well as the two different halves of the book.

I would recommend this for lovers of history.
